Our process

The design process is your choice. You can either come to us with an idea, a few rough sketches, or a set of plans from a draftsperson or architect. Regardless of the type of work, whether it be a home renovation or a residential construction project, we will work with you to design a plan customised to your unique lifestyle and situation, or implement a home design prepared by another professional.

A detailed costing is prepared prior to commencement of construction. During the entire designing process, we will keep you up to date with the cost. As changes are made, cost estimates will be modified and communicated to you. This ensures the cost remains within your budget. We will suggest where cost savings can be made without detracting from the quality or design merits of the job.

We will assist you in the development of plans and documentation required to gain planning, building, and plumbing permits from relevant authorities.

As one of Tasmania’s top residential building construction companies, our job is to help you through every step of the building process, making the experience as smooth and exciting as possible. Once the necessary approvals have been granted and the final cost accepted by you, work can begin. It is at this stage that the client can look forward to his or her ideas and dreams turning into a reality. Our duty is to ensure each stage of construction is completed in accordance with the Building Regulations and Standards, in addition to our high quality finish. We carefully organise and plan each project to ensure smooth coordination of work is achieved by providing all tradesmen with a detailed schedule of works. A copy of this will also be provided to you, allowing you to know what to expect throughout the entire project.

Our experience and expertise minimise the margin for error in home design and cost estimates once we have begun to work on your home. We are an open book company, and you have the opportunity to discuss costs at all times.

We are covered with all relevant insurance. Our employees and subcontractors are covered by workers compensation insurance.
